In this article I will show you step by step How to get started your own website. you don’t have to be a genuis to get your own website. A website it can be like a child game (not with the strict sence) .

First you need a domain name, something like yournameofchoice . com or .net or .org …. the common name is .com don’t try to register a .net or .org and let away .com or you can register all off them, but first register your .com. to register your domain you need a registrar service, the cost of a domain name is no more than $10 if you find it for more than $11 don’t register wuth this company. a registrar like GoDaddy is one off the top domain name registrar provide with a price arround $10.
Most of registrar provide hosting also. You may host your domain with them. But with my experience I try to do not put all my eggs in the same panel. I host my domain separatly than the registrar.
Are you ready to register a domain name? Try to choose an easy domain name also try to make as short as you can and have a meaning like your comanie name, the contenent are you planing to put on your site … First you need to find if the domain name you are planing to register is available or not. Let s start how to register your domain name with GoDaddy . You will find a toolbar like the picture bellow:
Put the domain name you want to check and hit GO than you will get the result if the domain available or not.
if the domain name is already taken you will get a message like in the picture bellow (where I try to register hostgrabber.com )

the message said the domain is available and it give you different other choice.
now either you hit add and you continue shopping other services or you hit continue to registration to process to shopping card. if you don’t have an account yet they will redirect you to create an account and then you register your domain. when your processing they will give other option please be carefull you may order some think you don’t need. unless if you need those services like domain name whois protection (if you don’t want your information to be public. ) I will talk about this later (how to protect your information from public access by paying some extrat upto $10 to keep your info private)
When the transaction done you are a website or a domain name owner.
NOW IT’S DONE WITH DOMAIN NAME.
Let talk about hosting. Hosting (you can refer to an article in this website if you want to learn more) simply is a space you rent in a server where you will put your file and document so than it can be accecced trough a website.
There are different good companies provide hosting service. there are shared hosting when you will share the same server with different users (never mind about other users , anyway it’s not intersting) or reseller (if you want to start your own webhosting comany) or a dedicated server (you will own the whole server) as a new user a shared hosting is all what you need.
those camanies provide different plans depend on space size, bandwidth, howmany email and data base … a list of service providers for shared hosting you will find it in our shared hosting page. visit any of them you find nice and start the process of hosting.
they will ask you to register a domain or you have already your domain name. so if you register your domain name already. just choose the appropriate option and process. after you done with your sale some times you need to wait a few hours before your service get activated it can be up to 24 hours.
if you are planing to host more than one domain name choose the plan with unlimited or over one domain name so than you can create as many as you want of website or give a website to a friend or a member of familly…

three of them have unlimited space and bandwidth, the first plan have only one domain name , means you can not add an other domain. the two other plans have unlimited domain names, means you can host in the same hosting service more than one website, so if you are planing to have more than website best to choose one of this two plans. difference between the second and third plan is a free deducated IP address and SSL. and also Phone support. All plans come with a 45 days MONEY BACK. Depend on your budget you choose the appropriate plan for you. (If you need my advice try at lease the 2nd PLAN. So you will not get short if you decide to have an other or others websites)
When you click ORDER you get into a page look like bellow:
choose the first botton if you dont have a domain name or the second if you have already a domain name. and put the domain name you want in the TEXT BAR than click NEXT

than just follow the steps to create an account. that is it.
Now you are hosting your site . you will receive in your email the information about your account include what named DNS parameter. please keep this email for your information you will need it to login to your account . or you might print it for your record.
when you get your information if you have your domain name registred with somebody else you need to change the DNS service in your domain.
How to change DNS with your registrar. just login to your into your domain name account and find change DNS link click on it and put the DNS you get from your hosting company. (DNS have a format like NS1.somedomainname.com and NS2.somdomainname.com)
