In my experience the best web hosting for wordpress I find it with 1and1. unlike some other web hosting service. With 1and1 your site stay all the time updated. From your admin area you can update, install themes, install plugin just by one click you don’t need to use the FTP to upload file.
Also I like the price for some $3 to $4 a month you can have as many website as you can.
